We are a "private equity" investment firm, which is different from most other investment management firms active in Vietnam. It means that we become significantly more involved in operational issues at investee companies compared to other investors in Vietnam. Candidates who are mainly interested in the stock market and quantitative analysis are not necessarily well-suited for Mekong Capital, whereas candidates interested in operational, management and strategy issues, and who want to have a significant positive impact at the companies for which they are responsible, are most likely to be successful at Mekong Capital.
