Vietnam Australia International School ("VAS")

VAS is the leading education service provider in Vietnam, operating a chain of private Kindergarten to 12th-grade campuses, targeting Vietnamese mid-to-high income households.

Recent developments

As of 2010, VAS has more than 4,300 students studying in 14 locations. The company reported a revenue and net profit y-o-y growth of 43% and 44% respectively.

 

History

  • In 2004: VAS was founded with 2 campuses.
  • In 2008: VAS operated 9 campuses with about 3,500 students, 400 staff, and Vietnamese and expatriate teachers.
  • In February 2009: VAS inaugurated ITS ICDL (International Computer Driving Licence) Approved Test Center.
  • In September 2009: VAS operated three new campuses increasing the number of campuses to 12 with more than 4000 students and 650 staffs.
  • In 2010: VAS operated 14 locations accommodating the total of 4,300 students.
  • In 2011: VAS operated its two first mega campuses.
