Venture International

Located on Highway No.5 from Hanoi to Hai Phong Port, Venture International is one of the leading apparel manufacturers in Vietnam, specializing in producing of work wears, corporate wears, children wears, shirts/blouses and other general garment products mainly to European market. The company currently has 4 workshops with over 1,200 workers.

Steered by an outstanding management team with extensive experience and international exposure, Venture International has been able to develop operational excellence and a long-term customer base that result in cost leadership and help the company to outperform its competitors.

Mekong Enterprise Fund II made an investment of US$5.4 million in the company in September 2007.

Venture International production facilities are constantly upgraded and among the best run in the region, capable of producing all garments, ranging from simple to complex products such as ski wears and protective clothing. Besides investing in its facilities, Venture International is very committed to develop its own people through regular technical trainings as well as on-the-job coaching.

Through strict quality control process, Venture International managed to provide consistently high quality products with timely delivery at competitive prices which in turn help the company to stay ahead of its competitors in Vietnam, China and Sub-Indian continents. Besides, Venture International gets SA8000 certification, a global social accountability standard for decent working conditions. This is an essential requirement to access EU market.  

Scalable and loyal customer base

The founder, Mr. John M. Somers, is a well-known name in the garment industry. He has got more than 40 years of experience managing garment factories in African and Asian countries. He has developed excellent relationship with his customers, securing stable, yet scalable, revenue stream for the company.

As the result of the founder’s customer network, Venture International sells its products directly to retailers and work-wears/corporate-wears specialists in Europe, thus cutting away the middle men and being able to provide its customers with flexibility and efficient supply chain management.

History

Established in September 2007 in Hai Duong province, Venture International is the result from the merger of Venture International (Vietnam) Limited Company, founded in 1992 and Song Ha Limited Company, founded in 2002. With specialized process of modern technology for each category, skilful labours and continuous improvement in the overall system, the company currently outperforms other companies in the same industry.

The company’s founder is among the first Dutchmen to set up business in Vietnam.
