Mekong Enterprise Fund III announced in May 2019 to have provided financing to Pharmacity.
Pharmacity is the largest pharmacy retail chain in Vietnam with 200 stores nationwide. Pharmacity plans to enlarge its network to more than 1,000 stores with national presence across Vietnam by 2021.
Mekong Enterprise Fund III announced its investment in Pizza 4P’s in May 2019.
Famous for their homemade cheese, creative use of local ingredients, high quality standards, and excellent customer experience, Pizza 4P’s is the most popular restaurant chain in Vietnam in terms of customer satisfaction. Pizza 4P’s popularity is so high that reservations normally need to be made up to one week in advance. Pizza 4P’s currently operates 14 restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Danang.
F88 rapidly expanded its footprint with 28 new branches opened, mostly in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing the total number of branches to 83 across the country. At the same time, average lending balance per branch also achieved strong growth of 8% compared to 1Q19.
Nhat Tin continues to show steady business performance with a healthy increase of 49% from their innovative Mixed Express Delivery product, contributing significantly to its 32% YoY revenue growth.

Vietnam’s first ever beer truck was launched by BiaCraft in June. The vehicle was designed and developed in-house and envisioned to deliver craft beer to any location in the country. The truck is currently roaming Ho Chi Minh City with 7 beers on tap and available for private functions upon request. The company plans to launch more “biatrucks” in the future, so keep your eyes peeled for one in a location near you.
YOLA has opened 2 new centers in June, bringing the total number of centers to 14 in Vietnam.
