Alastair Morrison was previously a Founder and former Global Co-head of Private Equity at Standard Chartered Bank until March 2014. He has also been a member of the Investment Committee of Mekong Enterprise Fund III since 2015 and the Investment Committee of Mekong Enterprise Fund IV since its launch in 2020.
He is currently senior adviser to Admaius Capital Partners, who manage a pan- African fund. Alastair acted as a senior adviser to The Carlyle Group’s Sub-Saharan Africa Fund between 2014 and 2016. He began his private equity career with 3i Group in the UK before relocating to Singapore to start their Asian operations in 1997.
