Phuong Thuy has spent more than a decade at Mekong Capital, where her journey of continuous growth and leadership development has culminated in her current role as the Operations Director. She is leading Fund Operations & Compliance, Office Administration, and Executive Assistants.
Throughout her career at Mekong Capital, Thuy has gained extensive experience in all phases of fund operations and investor relations activities. She has been actively involved in fundraising, performance reporting, compliance, and all operational touchpoints of Mekong Capital.
Thuy earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Warwick and a master’s degree with distinction from the University of St. Andrews. Her nearly decade-long education in the United Kingdom provided her with a strong foundation in economics and finance. However, Thuy always harbored a deep desire to return to Vietnam and contribute to her home country.
Thuy’s leadership style is characterized by transparency, integrity, and a commitment to achieving both individual and business success. Throughout her time at Mekong Capital, she has transformed from being hesitant to voice differing opinions to confidently speaking up, enabling her to partner effectively with stakeholders.
