About the role

You will lead projects with the agile approach and methodology at companies in Mekong Capitals portfolio achieve big, important business results faster than they thought possible. This includes projects like quickly launching new products, entering new markets, or solving tough business challenges. Over time, you will work with them to build a strong, self-sufficient way of working that leads to fast, consistent progress even after your direct support ends.

Key Accountabilities

A. Identify and lead the highest-impact projects for Agile intervention at Mekong Capitals portfolio companies and internally in Mekong Capital.

    • Facilitate the Design of Experiments: Work with product and business teams to define hypotheses, design Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), and set up key metrics for measuring the success of experiments.
    • Bias for Action mindset: Instill a mindset of prioritizing action and iteration over lengthy planning, helping teams understand that “done is better than perfect” in the early stages of a project.
    • Customer centric mindset: Instill a mindset of customer-centric in any projects.
    • Promote a Culture of Learning: Facilitate regular retrospectives and “post-mortem” meetings to ensure teams learn from both successes and failures, fostering a culture where knowledge is shared and continuously improved upon.
    • Connect Experiments to Business Outcomes: Ensure that all experiments are clearly linked to a business hypothesis, a customer problem, and a measurable result that impacts the company’s bottom line.

B. Coach and mentor internal ‘Agile champions’ and change agents to ensure the sustainability of practices beyond the engagement.

Key Requirements

A. Track record:

  • A proven track record of catalyzing cultural and organizational change, not just implementing a process.
  • Demonstrable experience in influencing and coaching C-level executives and senior leadership teams.
  • Proven Experience with A/B Testing & Lean Startup: Demonstrated ability to guide teams in designing, executing, and analyzing experiments (e.g., A/B tests, user interviews, MVPs_ Minimum Viable Products) to validate assumptions and inform product strategy.
  • Experienced with product development or customer-focused methods.
  • Experience with consumer brands or investment-backed companies is a plus.

  • Fluent in both Vietnamese and English (spoken and written).
