Ashley is currently the Head of Investment Advisory at Mekong Capital, where she leverages her expertise in finance and asset management to create and enhance value across investments.
Since joining Mekong Capital in 2021, Ashley has risen through the ranks from Specialist to Senior Specialist, and subsequently became the Head of the Investment Advisory Team. During her time as Head of the Team, she successfully completed the exit from Pizza 4P’s. Now, as Head of Investment Advisory, she oversees projects such as Pharmacity, Gene Solutions, Marou Chocolate, and Entobel, playing a key role in shaping the future of these companies and contributing to improved quality of life for all stakeholders.
Ashley was born and raised in Hanoi, Vietnam. She has studied and exchanged ideas in international environments: attending the University of Texas at Dallas and participating in exchange programs at Southeast University in Nanjing, China, and the Vienna University of Economics and Business in Austria. Ashley graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Finance and Accounting, and graduated with Summa Cum Laude (highest honors) and Major Honors.
Ashley began her career at Wisniewski Wealth Management in Dallas, Texas. There, she obtained professional certifications such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Enrolled Agent (EA).
In 2020, driven by a desire to create more meaningful value, Ashley returned to Vietnam and joined VCBF (Vietcombank Fund Management) as an equity research analyst. She was responsible for researching publicly traded companies in the retail, distribution, technology, telecommunications, and logistics sectors, and managing assets for institutional and high-net-worth individuals.
