Lê joined Mekong Capital in 2003 as a research assistant in the investment advisory department. She was involved in the execution and post-investment management of three investments in Mekong’s first fund, MEF. Lê served as head of the investment team, leading the investment in Chế biến Gỗ Đức Thành and overseeing post-investment management until 2007. During this period, in addition to her responsibilities as head of the investment team, Lê was one of the first members to spearhead the “talent recruitment” initiative for portfolio companies; this initiative later became an important part of the fund’s post-investment value-added activities.
Since 2007, with the company’s transformation, Lê has been responsible for Mekong Capital’s operations, including investor relations and communications, finance, talent and culture (covering all functions related to human resources and talent attraction—recruiting talent for portfolio companies and Mekong headquarters), the assistant general manager team, office administration, and information technology (IT). Lê also oversees teams related to external relations, portfolio valuation, and portfolio environmental and social management.
